Juanma & Ale

There are weddings that simply make you smile from beginning to end, and Juanma and Ale’s celebration at La Casa que Casa by Andrés Carne de Res, El Rosal, was one of them. From the very first moment, I knew it would be a special day — they have a unique energy, a mix of passion, simplicity, and joy that shines through every glance and every shared laugh.

Ale is from Colombia and Juanma is from the United States, and although they were living in Lima, Peru, they decided to return home to celebrate their love surrounded by family and friends. It was an intimate, authentic wedding filled with that warmth you only feel when roots and paths from different parts of the world come together in one place.

Photographing Juanma and Ale felt like spending the day with two friends who aren’t afraid to be themselves. Between spontaneous hugs, laughter carried by the wind, and tender looks full of love, every photograph tells their story just as it is — real, imperfect, and deeply beautiful.

This wedding reminded me why I love what I do so much: because behind every image there’s a story worth telling — and Juanma and Ale’s is one full of life, joy, and true love.
